Connect accounting
and ERP

Invoices, bookings and master data move by interface between shop, ERP, accounting software and DATEV — instead of CSV exports and retyping. We build the connection; your systems stay as they are.

ERP-System als Mittelpunkt, verbunden mit Finanzen, Aufträgen und Logistik über strukturierte Datenformate
Our approach

Your systems stay. The manual work between them goes.

Most small and mid-sized businesses do not need a new ERP — they need a connection between the systems they already run. We use your software’s official interfaces — REST APIs, DATEV data services, defined export formats — and build the data flow between them rule-based and traceable. A language model is used only where unstructured data has to be read. Every transfer is logged; whatever fails lands with a human instead of disappearing. The bookkeeping itself stays with you and your tax advisor.

Building blocks · 06

What we connect.

Six building blocks, introduced on their own or together — depending on where things get retyped today.

Bookings to your tax advisor

Booking batches and documents reach your tax advisor in DATEV format or via the DATEV data services — generated automatically instead of a CSV by email.

Invoices from shop & ERP

Orders become invoices in your invoicing tool automatically — easybill, sevDesk or lexoffice, for example — with customer, line items and tax rate.

Outgoing e-invoices

XRechnung and ZUGFeRD generated from your data per EN 16931 and checked against the business rules before sending — not after the complaint.

Master data in sync

Maintain customers, suppliers, items and cost centres once, sync them everywhere — no duplicates, no mismatched numbers between systems.

Payment status back

Paid status from accounting or bank flows back into ERP or shop — dunning runs and delivery releases work with current data.

Log & error alerts

Every transfer logged with time, record and result. If something fails you get an alert instead of a silent gap at month-end.

Systems · 04

What we dock onto.

The names are examples of systems with open interfaces, not partnerships. What matters is which interface your system offers — the check settles that.

Accounting & invoicing

For example sevDesk, lexoffice, BuchhaltungsButler or easybill — connected via each vendor’s API.

ERP

For example Odoo, Sage, Oracle NetSuite or BMD — via their programming interfaces and exchange formats.

Tax advisor & DATEV

DATEV format and DATEV data services; firm software such as ADDISON or Agenda via their import and exchange routes.

GDPR & GoBD

Data-processing agreement, least-privilege access, processing in an EU region and a log of every transfer.

Fixed-price packages · 03

Check first, then connect at a fixed price.

What an integration costs depends on your systems’ interfaces. That is why the check comes first — after it you get a fixed price, not an estimate.

Process · 05 Steps

From isolated tools to one data flow.

Nothing is switched over until you and your tax advisor have compared the results.

01

Map your systems

Which systems run, who maintains what, where do exports and retyping happen today — and which interfaces does your software actually offer?

02

Define the data flow

Which system leads for which data? Direction, schedule and field mapping are written down before anything is built.

03

Build & test

Integration in a test environment with real sample data and your everyday edge cases: credit notes, partial deliveries, customers abroad.

04

Parallel run

The interface runs alongside the old route. You and your advisor compare, then we switch over.

05

Operations & handover

Monitoring, error alerts and documentation. If a vendor changes its API, monitoring catches it — not your accounts team.

FAQ · Frequently Asked

Questions on system integration.

The points that come up in almost every intro call.

Do we need a new ERP or new accounting software?
Usually not. Most systems small and mid-sized businesses use have a programming interface or at least a defined import and export format. We connect what you already run. Switching systems only comes up if a tool offers no automatable route at all — we see that in the check, before you invest anything.
How does this differ from document processing?
Document processing deals with incoming documents: collecting, extracting, matching payments. System integration connects the software your data lives in — shop, ERP, invoicing, accounting and DATEV. The two combine well; often the integration is what lets document processing write its results into the right system in the first place.
Does DATEV even allow integration by interface?
Yes, but not every route is open to everyone. DATEV offers data services for bookings and document images; whether they work in your case depends, among other things, on how your tax advisor works with DATEV and which approvals are in place. Where that does not fit, an export in DATEV format is the robust route — generated automatically rather than by hand. We settle which route it is in the check, together with your advisor.
What does the e-invoicing mandate have to do with it?
Since 2025, German businesses must be able to receive e-invoices in B2B trade; the obligation to issue them follows in stages from 2027 and 2028. Issuing means the invoice has to leave your ERP or invoicing tool as a structured EN 16931 data set, such as XRechnung or ZUGFeRD. That is exactly an interface — we build it with validation against the business rules before the invoice goes out.
What happens if a transfer fails?
Then nothing is silently skipped. Every transfer is logged; a failed record triggers an alert to the person responsible, with the reason and the affected document. Typical causes are missing master data, an expired credential or a changed API — all three are visible before they hit month-end.
Who looks after the interface after go-live?
That is your call. You get documentation and a handover video and can run the integration yourself or with your IT. If you would rather not keep it in-house, you can hand operations to us through our monthly “Automation” retainer (see packages & pricing).
