What exactly is measured?
Two questions. First: does AI know your brand at all? Second — and this is the interesting part: when someone asks for your service, who gets recommended? For each engine I measure whether your domain appears among the sources of the answer, and which other domains are cited instead.
Why don't I get the result instantly?
Because every request triggers real API calls at three providers. An instant check would be exhausted after a handful of requests a day and would then stop working for everyone else. So checks run in batches — and you get a result that was actually measured rather than estimated.
Are ChatGPT and Perplexity included?
No. I measure Gemini, Tavily and Brave — the same three engines I run in the paid monitoring. I would rather say nothing about ChatGPT and Perplexity than claim something I do not measure.
How is this different from the paid monitoring?
The free check is a snapshot from a single day. AI answers fluctuate — whether things improve or decline only shows up when you repeat the measurement over weeks. That is what the ongoing monitoring does: daily measurement, history, alerts and a dashboard.
